 PegasusSeptember 2021 Bellerophon is a hero of Greek mythology. HIs greatest feat was killing the Chimera, a monster that Homer depicted with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail: "her breath came out in terrible blasts of burning flame." Bellerophon needed the help of the winged horse, Pegasus. Using Athena's charmed golden bridle, he was able to capture Pegasus while it drank from a well. |  Dad: The Sea Mom-sterJuly 2021 Seahorses are truly unique, and not just because of their unusual equine shape. Unlike most other fish, they are monogamous and mate for life. Rarer still, they are among the only animal species on Earth in which the male bears the unborn young. |
 Iris, Zeus & HeraJuly 2021 The reference flower for this was found on Cheticamp Island. Irises are present in Greek mythology. Iris was a messenger for Zeus and Hera and the goddess of the rainbow. Hence the rainbow of colours in this painting. Purple irises symbolize royalty and wisdom.
